Upgrading the Salesforce app won't affect your running competitions of configurations completed in the Salesforce app in regards to changes to the fields, or filters.
You must have Salesforce Administrator privileges on your account to perform this action.
Upgrading from Version 2.21 (or lower)
If you are currently running version 2.21 or lower you will need to install a patch version before upgrading to the latest version.
Access to this patch version can be found here.
After clicking this link you will be redirected to log in to Salesforce (if you are not already) and it will automatically start the install process. Then, simply follow the prompts to install the app.
Once 2.21.1 is installed, you can continue with installing the latest version (see instructions below).
Upgrading from Version 2.22 (and above)
Click here to upgrade to the latest version.
To install this version click on the above link to go to the latest version on the AppExchange. Then click the install button and follow the prompts to install the app in the desired account.
Once installed, follow the steps here to reactivate the sync process.
1) Log in to Salesforce
- Log in to Salesforce as the user you want to use to sync data
2) Open the Spinify App
- Go to the App Launcher
- Select the "Spinify" app
- Choose the App Dropdown
- Select the "Spinify" app.
- Navigate to the Spinify Setup Tab
3) Sync the User
- Next, click the "Select User" button.
- Log in, if prompted to do so. This will reset the current user to the sync user
4) Spinify Setup
After entering your details you will be redirected to the Setup page with links to add users, edit the advanced sync or choose a user to sync the data with. Your Salesforce data will automatically pick up where you left off before upgrading the account. It will continue to sync the fields you previously customized.
