Link with Chromebit - RECOMMENDED by Spinify
This is another inexpensive and easy way to setup your TV without any cables. Chromebit is a candy-bar sized computer that sits comfortably behind your TV and uses Chrome’s web browser. Simply plug the power into your Chrombit, plug a keyboard into it and bring up your Spinify leaderboards in its Chrome browser.
It is Easy-to-manage, cost-effective and even has a kiosk app which you can control from your computer over wifi.
Link with Chromebox
The Chrombox is a small computer that you can connect to your office TV. Simply launch the in built Chrome web browser and get your leaderboards showing in no time at all.
Link with a HDMI Cable
A standard HDMI cable is the simplest way to connect your desktop or laptop to the office TV. If you are using a slimline laptop, without a HDMI slot you will need to purchase an adapter.
Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the desktop or laptop environment and the other end into the TV. Switch the TV to the correct input source and that’s it. You’re ready to broadcast leaderboards.
Link with Google Chromecast
This is an inexpensive and easy way to link to your TV without any cables. Chromecast will “cast” information from an app, web page or specific browser tab. A relatively new feature also allows you to cast an entire desktop.
In our view this doesn’t work as perfectly as the HDMI cable and is reliant on the power of the desktop or laptop as well as WiFi strength. HDMI is not dependent on WiFi however using the Google Chromecast is the easiest way to do wireless mirroring of a nearby desktop or laptop.
Link with Airtame Wireless
This is a new-to-world product. If you want to leave cable management behind then Airtame Wireless may be the option for you to cast your information to the office TV. Airtame is a small wireless HDMI device that plugs into the HDMI port of your TV. any screen or projector. This solution reduces workplace clutter.
Airtame will mirror your entire desktop display wirelessly from Mac, Windows, and Linux to a TV screen.
